She taught at Kadamb and later joined Nrityagram as Kathak Guru for a short span of time. Teaching students from different backgrounds and age groups, further strengthened her Kathak movement vocabulory.

Thereafter she got associated with various educational institutions and imparted Kathak education with the same passion. Parul started taking dance and drama workshops at the prestigious British Council library since year 2011.

Her methodology to teach each movement with a scientific approach and also give indiviadualistic attention to each student makes her a popular mentor. Though a proponent of purity of style, she encourages fearless collaborative experiments.
